Európska únia je čoraz viac konfrontovaná s otázkou, čo spája jednotlivé členské štáty. Najmä pre mladých ľudí, ktorí poznajú Európu bez hraníc a ktorí vyrastali v relatívnej prosperite, je dôležité hľadať stopy spoločnej histórie a identity. Európska mládež totiž môže byť úspešná v úspešnom formovaní európskeho projektu iba vtedy, ak si uvedomí svoju vlastnú identitu a uzná spoločné hodnoty. Preto sme sa s partnerskými školami v Nemecku, Litve a Poľsku pracovali na projekte, ktorý sa zaoberal identitami v Európe.
Cieľom nášho projektu bolo posilnenie medzikultúrnych kompetencií, jazykových zručností (projektovým jazykom bola nemčina a angličtina), uvedomenie si vlastnej a európskej identity, rozvoj mediálnej gramotnosti a sociálnych kompetencií prostredníctvom spolupráce v medzinárodných tímoch a v neposlednom rade uvedomenie si európskych hodnôt.
Výsledkom spoločných stretnutí bola tvorba rôznych identít v Európe pomocou fotografií z mobilít, ktoré vytvorili žiaci.
Definitívnou bodkou za naším projektom je výstava, na ktorej naši a zahraniční žiaci prezentujú výsledky svojej práce. V týchto dňoch ju prezentujeme v Nemeckej knižnici Goetheho inštitútu v Štátnej vedeckej knižnici na Pribinovej ulici 1 v Košiciach.
Conclusion of the 2019 – 2022 project
The European Union has recently been facing the question of what unites its individual member states. For young people who know a Europe without borders and who grew up in relative prosperity, it is especially important to look for traces of a common history and identity. Indeed, European youth can only be successful in shaping a European project if they realise their own identity and recognise common values. For these reasons, we worked with partner schools in Germany, Lithuania, and Poland on a project that dealt with identities in Europe.
The goals of our project were to strengthen intercultural competences, language skills (the project languages were German and English), and awareness of one’s own and European identity, to develop media literacy and social competences through cooperation in international teams, and last but not least, to raise awareness of European values.
The result of the joint meetings was the creation of various identities in Europe using photos from the mobilities created by the students.
Our project is finishing with an exhibition where students who were involved in the project present the results of their work. It is currently being held at the German Library of the Goethe Institute in the State Research Library at Pribinova 1 in Košice.
